With maternity leave ending at only 5-6 months into our breastfeeding journeys, pumping milk for our wee ones became an all-consuming task riddled with guilt (no thanks). It seemed like we were spending half of our day trying to make pumps work and the other half trying to clean, sterilise and dry a hundred different awkwardly shaped pump pieces that seemed overly complicated. All that on top of the fifty thousand other tasks we had to somehow pile into a twenty-four-hour period.

We wanted to find pumping products that were no-frills and reliable, did what they claimed to, and made our lives as mums easier, not more fiddly. What followed was a solution-seeking adventure that took us down some weird paths (we’ve tried some strange things…), but eventually, that journey led us to creating Super Mum, and to our fantastic final lineup of products.
